FAQ

Can you blast my complete engine?

Yes, but we would not advise it! High pressure water and air will force the media in through the smallest of spaces particularly seals. Once inside the engine it will eventually destroy bearings, block oil galleries and rapidly wear our gears. Other companies may not tell you this!

Will it damage the surface and remove much material?

No, vapour blasting is unlike dry blasting its more of a polishing or lapping process and could be described a burnishing. The water acts as a lubricant and alters the angle in which the media strikes the surface reducing the impact and material removal.

How long does it take?

Most parts we will endeavour to turnaround within 5 – 10 working days.
In some cases we may be able to do them while you wait by prior appointment

What preparation do I need to do?

Dismantle the parts as far as you can and remove any paint or grease.
